UNF-5A Naphthalene pure highly effective retarding & water-reducing admixture have the characteristics of retarding , super-plasticized, water-reducing, less loss of slump.It is very effective concrete admixture to adopt in high temperature area.

Main Properties and Characteristics

1. Excellent effect of retarding: It can be used in retarding the setting of concrete for 2 hours to 

    36hours, and initial setting and ultimate hardening almost delay the same long time 

    corresponding, so that its convenient for conveying at long distance.  

2. With the water-reducing rate of 12%-25%, it can improve the floating, permeation-proofing

    ability, and the workability of concrete, concrete compression resistant, and other

    physical  mechanics will be also gained.

3. Reduces cement dosage by 12%-25% without altering compression strength and slump.

4. Good for many applications: Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, Portland fly-ash 

    cement, Portland pozzolan cement and Portland blast furnace-slag cement.

Typical performance

UNF-5A improves initial and ultimate strengths. It also gets less loss of slump and improves 

workability of the concrete more than traditional concrete admixture. The lower content of 

Na2SO4, in the admixture, will lead to meet the requirement of the special cement concrete 

engineering project in the coastland and high saline-alkali area.

In order to meet specific requirements, UNF-5A addition arte should be determined by the materials and the conditions of the experiments and the water-reducing request. The scope of the UNF-5A Liquid addition rate is from 1.0 liter to 2.5 liter per 100kg cement materials including flyash, and the UNF-5A Powder addition rate is from 0.4kg-1.5 kg per 100 kg cement materials including flash. 

Packaging

UNF-5A Liquid is available in plastic drum and 1000L/ drum.

UNF-5A Powder is packed in plastic knitted bag lined with plastic film, net weight is  25kg/bag.
